J'applique (et je m'applique!)

En septembre, j'ai eu la grande chance de participer à un séminaire avec Philippa Naylor, une quilteuse hors pair. Pendant ce séminaire de quatre jours, j'ai appris plusieurs techniques d'appliqué machine que je mets en oeuvre maintenant pour finir (j'en suis loin!) le quilt que j'ai commencé. Voici donc quelques petits aperçus.

In September, I was fortunate enough to take part in a class with Philippa Naylor, an extraordinary quilter. During the four-day class, I learned several machine appliqué techniques that I'm using now to finish (I'm far from finishing though!) the quilt that I've begun. Here are a few shots.

D'autre part, j'ai récemment participé à un tirage au sort...et j'ai gagné!!! J'ai gagné ce délicieux "bundle" de 10 fats de la collection Studio Stash de Jennifer Sampou! Youpiiii! Et les tissus sont encore plus beaux "en vrai" qu'en photo ou sur le site!

On another subject, I recently took part in an online drawing...and I won!!! I won this delicious bundle of 10 fat quarters from Jennifer Samou's Studio Stash collection! Hurray! And the fabrics are even more beautiful "in person" than in this photo or on the site!
