De la douceur

Le tricot me plaît toujours, et donc je me suis décidée à me faire un nouveau pull. Pour être sûr qu'il m'ira, je me suis inscrite à CustomFit, mais avant de pouvoir "sortir" le modèle personnalisé, il fallait que je trouve la laine que j'allais utiliser. Elle est arrivée mardi, et elle est un rêve de douceur! J'ai choisi la Magnolia de chez Classic Elite Yarns - 70% mérinos et 30% soie, un mélange qui est chaud mais super agréable au toucher et qui a une petite brillance discrète.

I still enjoy knitting, and so I decided recently to make myself a new sweater. To be sure it would fit properly, I signed up for CustomFit, but before being able to develop the personalized pattern, I had to find the yarn I'd be using. It arrived Tuesday, and it's amazingly soft! I chose Classic Elite Yarn's Magnolia - 70% merino and 30% silk, a blend that is warm while being incredibly soft and cuddly to the touch; it also gleems a bit.

Avant de pouvoir commencer un pull, bien sûr, il faut faire un échantillon. Et là on voit ma laine comme elle sera dans le pull, aussi belle qu'espérée! Je fais deux échantillons, histoire de trouver le bon rendu.

Before beginning a sweater, of course, you have to swatch. And here the yarn reveals what it will be like in the sweater, as lovely as I'd hoped! I'm making two swatches in order to find which one will please me more.

Je pourrai bientôt laver cet échantillon et voir le résultat!
